It was in a comfy location to Bus terminal. Besides, we were just next door to the beach and other local restaurants and shopping malls and family style eateries, shopping malls and many eating places and shopping. Got reasonably large twin room with view to the beppuwan when arrived, thoroughly enjoyed that. Had an electric kettle and a refrigerator at our disposal.

We had a fantastic stay at this place! The staff here are truly amazing. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel so welcome and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The room was incredibly spacious and beautifully decorated, with top-notch furniture. We especially loved the private onsen on the balcony, which offered stunning views of the sea. The location of this hotel was perfect, just a short walk from the beach and close to shops and restaurants. The amenities in the room, including tea and coffee facilities, a sitting area, and free Wi-Fi, were all greatly appreciated. we had one of the best hotel experiences ever and highly recommend this venue.
We recommend this hotel to all.

The room at Umine was very nice! I was amazed by the spacious and beautifully designed interior. The private onsen on the balcony with a view of the ocean was a highlight of my stay. The room also had a large living room and dining area, feel like a luxurious apartment. The yukata provided added to the authentic Japanese experience. The meals were excellent, with a variety of delicious dishes served for both dinner and breakfast. The hotel also provided a pick-up service from the train station, very convenient.

Had a wonderful Thanksgiving retreat at a hot spring hotel! Enjoyed the delicious complimentary meals their chef prepared, including traditional Japanese breakfast and steak dinner. the hotel's location made it easy to access local hot springs and attractions.
Only drawback was the language barrier. Most of the staff didn't speak fluent English, which made it difficult to communicate at times.

Located in a prime spot, the hotel offers proximity to the sandy beach and the famous Beppu tower. It is also very close to the bus terminal. the spacious rooms with modern decor feature private sauna baths, while the semi-open air onsen bath attached to the room provides a relaxing view. the Teppanyaki dinner, Sashimi dinner, and Japanese and Western breakfast were memorable experiences.
Some staff members struggle with English communication according to the reviews.

We enjoyed the spacious room with private onsen bath and lovely decoration. The location was very convenient, right next to the sandy beach and close to the bus stop. The breakfast was great with a Japanese-style set meal. The staff were very nice and helpful, and even prepared items specifically for our baby.

Loved the amazing sea views from the large and comfortable room. enjoyed the private onsen bath that was perfect for relaxing during our stay. Another plus was the location, it was just a short walk from many great restaurants and had free parking. Definitely a great way to unwind after a day of sightseeing.
The onsen was not spacious. there were no real perks offered, and we wished there were more amenities for the price we paid.
